ടൊറന്റോ: കാനഡയിലെ ഒന്റാറിയോ പ്രവിശ്യയിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്കിൽഡ് വർക്കേഴ്സിനും അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും സ്ഥിരതാമസത്തിന് വഴിതുറക്കുന്നു. 2026 ഫെബ്രുവരി 18-ന് നടന്ന ഒന്റാറിയോ ഇമിഗ്രന്റ് നോമിനി പ്രോഗ്രാം (OINP) നറുക്കെടുപ്പിലൂടെ 1,404 ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികൾക്കാണ് അപേക്ഷിക്കാൻ ക്ഷണം (ITA) ലഭിച്ചത്. സ്കിൽഡ് ട്രേഡ്‌സ് (Skilled Trades) വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ജോലികളിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കാണ് ഈ നറുക്കെടുപ്പിൽ മുൻഗണന ലഭിച്ചത്.

ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് സ്ട്രീമിൽ 453ഉം, ഫോറിൻ വർക്കർ സ്ട്രീമിൽ 951 പേർക്കുമാണ് ക്ഷണം ലഭിച്ചത്. ഫോറിൻ വർക്കർ സ്ട്രീമിൽ 50-ഉം അതിനുമുകളിലും ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് സ്ട്രീമിൽ 80-ഉം അതിനുമുകളിലും ആയിരുന്നു കട്ട് ഓഫ് സ്കോർ.
